Behind The Scene: My First Styling Project

Just in case you're wondering, the pics are in black and white because I don't want to spoil anything just yet!

Yesterday I did a shoot with a friend, Lina, her friends, and her friend's friend —repetition is deliberate, of course. I have known L since high school and we got close because we were both so into make up —and Pretty Little Liars heheh— even though we never been in the same class —except French. She has been doing photoshoots recently with herself as the makeup artist. So when she was currently in Jakarta —she's studying in Bandung, btw— I immediately texted her —IN CAPS— to do a fashion photoshoot with me. That's when she asked her photographer and model friends to join.

I've never been involved in any photoshoot before. Also, this is my first time 'actually' styling someone other than myself. We didn't pick any theme for the shoot, except maybe fashion photography. If there's any theme though, it'd be me. All the clothes used were mine and I styled the way I'd actually wear heheh. Except maybe the hair. I'd never kylie-jenner-braid my hair. Just no.

These are our only crew of the day. Yes, 5 people including the models. Everyone does everything. Kak Sandhya helped setting the lights and properties. I helped directing the models. Lina, well, only useful finding me a ride home hahah jk! Overall it was a fun shoot and the team were very cooperative. And in case I haven't said this, THANKYOU GUYS!

Just recently bought a new camera, more on this later heheh
