First day studying in University of Malaya!
Not many of you guys know that I'm currently in Malaysia right now
—unless you follow my social medias, of course. I'm joining a short course program and will be studying in University of Malaya for 3 weeks. This is my first time doing this kind of thing. When I applied for this program, I had no idea what it's gonna be like and what am I supposed to do
—and even where or when will the result of this program will be announced
— but I was still full excitement. Today is my 6th day here and I still have around 2 more weeks to go. So far it has been great. Although I did experience a culture shock. Which I believe is very normal when you have to stay abroad within a period of time. I have made some new friends that also came from my campus and even international friends. This is my first time going abroad without my mom and it is for three. EFFIN. Weeks. This does sound very frightening to me, probably because it really is, but at the same time, very exciting! I got to see and study at one of the finest universities in Asia, go to places, and of course, meet new people.
I'm staying in Kuala Lumpur and I can tell you that this city is very similar to Indonesia in so many ways. Although at the moment the weather isn't very predictable here. It gets so hot at times that I have to wear my sunnies and hat. Then all of a sudden it's raining for hours. It's pretty much like Jakarta though, except KL is hotter. But overall, I'm really enjoying my time here and can't wait to try new things. Any suggestion on what places I should visit or what food I should try?
These fellas!
MOST. AMAZING. STUDY. SPACE. EVER.
